Print Options
Hugh Davis images capture a diverse range of ocean imagery from popping, vibrant colours to moody black and whites. It is key to select quality photographic papers which allow our images to achieve their desired effect in print form and make a dramatic visual impact.
We use Fitzgerald Photo labs exclusively for all of our photo printing. Fitzys are widely regarded as the best professional photographic lab in Western Australia. They offer a comprehensive range of print mediums from your standard glossy paper to archival fine art papers that last for ever. These are our favourite photo papers we use for our images:
- Metallic: this paper makes colours POP! It looks incredible mounted on aluminium, glass and arcylic.
- Lustre: classic mat paper with a softer finish.
- Gloss: great for black and whites and banging colours.
- Fine Art Paper: a bit more expensive but a beautiful medium for our moody black and whites. This is an archival paper and lasts for ever.
- Canvas: a clean simple option, rolled or stretched. The price and size options don’t apply to canvas prints so if you’re keen to go this way please contact us for a quote.
We know what photo papers our images look good on, so we recommend you leave print selection up to us. However, if you have a specific “look” in mind for one of our images then please contact us to make a custom order.
