Right after I sent last week’s email the forecast changed -> winds in WA were generally southerly over the weekend, instead of the dreamy easterlies that were on the cards. There was plenty of west in the swell though so the ol’ faithful bays and points around Margaret River dished up some great waves on Saturday and Sunday. Just goes to show, you can’t be too fussy - some quality barrels were up for grabs if you were in the right spot!
The crowds seem to have thinned out a bit around Margs with the onset of some chilly mercury readings. Yikes winter is baltic down there, brrrr…uggies and wooly beanies are standard issue.
Things are looking a bit sketchy this coming weekend with strong W-SW winds forecast but there’s going to be plenty of swell around so somewhere will be going off.
Have a good one!

quote of the week:
“I don’t feel safe in this world no more
I don’t wanna die in a nuclear war
I wanna sail away to a distant shore
And make like an apeman!”
