It was tough going back to work last week after 10days in the tropics, wandering around in boardies and surfing in balmy tropical juice…but I found solace down south with some great waves last weekend.

The peak was shifty and the reef ledge was very shallow (breaking in less than a foot of water - sooo shallow, check out the reef in some of the shots). Mix up a shallow ledge with an outgoing tide and you’re in tube-town so there were some crook barrels rolling through!

Looks like a hot weekend of waves coming up…the winds are looking good and it’s going to be pretty solid up and down the West Oz coast - 3m on Friday, tapering off to 1.5m on Sunday. Hope you have a good one!
