We’ve had a pretty grim stream of weather over the last few days with heaps of rain and wind, but there have been some good waves kicking around in the midst of the maelstrom. You’ve gotta love those stormy offshore winter days!

The Margaret River stretch was pretty wobbly on Wednesday morning but as the wind swung into the east, the ocean became more organised.  The wind dropped off by late arvo and there were some crystal cylinders up for grabs at a nearby beach break.

Thursday morning was howling ESE = freezing cold!  A fickle stretch of reef north of Margs turned on in the lined-up south groundswell.  I wish I could have shot a couple of lineup pics but it was raining cats and dogs so you’ll have to take my word for it that it was a dead-ringer for a perfect Indo setup.
